Quality Assurance
Manufacturing Technology & Quality Standards
Every Rigman Safety product is independently certified before distribution. Certification is a prerequisite — not an optional attribute.
Certification Process
Material Verification
Raw materials are verified against published standard requirements — not cost optimisation. Every input is validated before production approval.
Prototype Testing
Prototypes are tested against the applicable EN ISO, ANSI or international standard by an accredited notified body before any production run.
Batch Sampling
Production batches are sampled under ongoing surveillance to ensure manufactured output matches certified prototype performance.
Documentation
Certificate of conformity and test reports are generated for every product — ready for site compliance submission under ADNOC, CICPA and UK HSE requirements.
No product is released to market without a valid certificate of conformity from a recognised notified body. All certification documentation is available for site-submission compliance purposes upon request.
EN ISO Standard Alignment
S1 through S5 categories — covering impact, compression, penetration and slip resistance requirements for occupational footwear.
Flame spread, convective heat, radiant heat, molten aluminium and molten iron protection classifications for FR garments.
Arc flash protection at Class 1 and Class 2 levels for welding and allied processes.
System standard incorporating EN 361 (full body harness), EN 362 (connectors) and EN 365 (periodic inspection).
Industrial safety helmet standard covering impact, penetration, flame resistance and electrical insulation.
International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea — lifesaving appliances and evacuation systems for commercial vessels.
Material Standards
| Product Category | Governing Standard |
|---|---|
| Safety Footwear uppers | EN ISO 20345 material durability |
| FR fabric | EN ISO 11612 / EN 533 flame spread |
| Chemical-resistant gloves | EN 374 permeation & penetration |
| Hard hat shell | EN 397 impact resistance |
| Harness webbing | EN 361 static & dynamic load |
| Respirator filter media | EN 149 filtration efficiency |
Ongoing Compliance
Certification is maintained through annual surveillance audits by the issuing notified body. Rigman Safety holds active certificate status for all current products.
When standards are revised, existing designs are assessed against the revised requirements and re-certified before the transition deadline. Products carrying legacy certification are clearly identified and phase-out timelines communicated to distributor partners.
